Terms and Conditions for VONCLUB Membership Packages

This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms and conditions on which we supply any of the VONCLUB Membership Packages listed on our website at voncrank.com (our site). Please read these terms and conditions carefully before purchasing your VONCLUB Membership Packages. You should understand that by ordering any of our Membership Packages, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Please print a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference.

Please tick the box marked ‘Terms and Conditions’ on the sign-up form to confirm you have read and accepted these terms and conditions. Please understand that if you refuse to accept these terms and conditions, you will not be able to order any Membership Packages from VONCRANK.

VONCRANK is a mobile bike servicing company that links fully vetted and insured free lance mechanics

Your VONCLUB Membership Package (Basic Overview)

  1. How to order – All services in your Membership Package must be ordered through the website

    www.voncrank.com

  2. Areas covered by the VONCLUB Membership Package – Services in your VONCLUB Membership package can be ordered anywhere within the boundaries of the M25.

  3. How to contact VONCRANK customer care – The VONCRANK customer care team are available from 9am – 6pm, Monday – Friday via email atinfo@voncrank.comand via our customer care helpline on 03333 448558.

  4. Compliments and complainants – We are always delighted to hear your feedback to improve our service and can be contacted using the contact details above.

  5. Operational hours – VONCRANK Mechanics operate from Monday – Saturday, 9am – 7pm. Mechanic’s can operate outside these hours but have no obligation to do so.

  6. Order response – A member of the VONCRANK Team will reply to your order and book your requested service within 3 working days of your order.

  7. Requested times – When placing your order we have enabled you to request a preferred time and date. VONCRANK’s only obligation is to make first contact with the customer to confirm your order within 3 working days to arrange your service.

1. Details of your VONCLUB Membership Package

1.1 Services available – These services include Commuter, Leisure, Pro, Specific service/repair and puncture repair.

1.4 Activation of your VONCLUB Membership Package–Your VONCLUB Membership Package will be activated when the first payment is made and will run until you cancel your Membership Package.

1.5 Cancelling your VONCLUB Membership Package – You can cancel your VONCLUB Membership Package under the condition that VONCRANK has received the outstanding monthly installment’s before terminating the contract. Each package is fully paid for after 12 monthly installments.

1.6 Duration of your VONCLUB Membership Package – Your package commences on VONCRANK’s receipt of your first payment and continues until you cancel the Membership Package.

1.7 Termination of your Membership Package – VONCRANK reserve the right to terminate your membership package at any time.

1.8 Bike specifications – Due to the unique nature of each bicycle additional charges do exist. The details of all of which are available on our website –www.voncrank.com

2. Mobile operation terms and conditions

2.1 Suitable work space – The mechanic must have a level 2m squared area in which to carry out the requested service or repair. If this not provided the Mechanic has no obligation to carry out the requested service or repair.

2.2 Weather Conditions – In the event of extreme weather conditions where the Mechanic’s health is at risk there is no obligation on the Mechanic’s behalf to work outside or put their health and safety at risk in any way.

2.3 Parts – Being a mobile service it is impossible to stock and carry all parts. Therefore the customer must be prepared to wait 7 working days for a part to be replaced.

2.4 Pick up and drop off – In the event of a bicycle needing specialist work that must be carried out in a workshop, the bicycle will be removed from the premises with the owner’s permission. VONCRANK does not accept any responsibility for the loss or damage of said bicycle.

2.5 Locked bicycles – In the event of a bicycle being locked up or with restricted access in any way. The Customer has 20 minutes to make the bike accessible to a mechanic before the mechanic will leave and a cancellation penalty of £10.00 will be taken from the Customer’s card.

2.6 Stolen bicycles – The VONCRANK Mechanic reserves the right to refuse to service/repair your bicycle if he suspects the bicycle to be stolen.

2.7 Cannot verify your membership – The Mechanic is under no obligation to service/repair your bicycle if you the Customer cannot verify your VONCLUB Membership Package. In this case the VONCRANK Mechanic reserves the right to refuse service.

2.8 Unreasonable behaviour – If the VONCRANK Mechanic considers that the Customer is behaving in an abusive or threatening way they have the right to refuse the the service or repair. The incident in question will be reviewed to ensure a safe and healthy VONCRANK experience for all parties involved.

3. Autorenewal

3.1 If Membership is paid monthly by Direct Debit or Continuous Credit Card and the payer has agreed

to allow us to collect the renewal premium automatically each year, then unless we hear to the contrary, your Membership will be automatically renewed at the end of each year. A reminder will be sent to advise of the cost of VONCLUB Membership Package, and any changes to Terms & Conditions that will take effect, at renewal.

3.2 If a VONCLUB Member does not want to renew on this basis, they should notify VONCRANK at least 7 days prior to renewal. For further information call the VONCRANK customer care helpline or emailinfo@voncrank.com

4. Changes to Terms and Conditions

4.1 Annual cover: VONCRANK is entitled to change any of the Terms & Conditions at renewal. VONCRANK also reserves the right to make changes to these Terms & Conditions during the VONCLUB Membership Year, on the giving of reasonable notice, where it reasonably considers this necessary in order to comply with any applicable laws, regulations or the advice or instruction of any regulatory authority.

4.2 For Continuous Membership: the AA is entitled to make changes to any of these Terms & Conditions (and to the premium payable) during a Continuous Membership contract, but will always give Members paying monthly at least 45 days prior notice of any such change(s).

5. Changes to your Personal Details

5.1 Changes to your name or address must be notified to VONCRANK immediately. This must be done by contacting the VONCRANK customer care team oninfo@voncrank.comor the customer care helpline during the above mentioned business hours.

5.2 Please note that if you pay under a continuous payment authority and your account and/or card details change, we will approach your card provider/bank for, or receive from your card provider bank, updated details to help continue to provide the services you have requested.

6. Matters outside VONCRANK’s reasonable control

6.1 While VONCRANK seeks to meet the service needs of Members at all times, its resources are finite and this may not always be possible. VONCRANK shall not be liable for service failures where VONCRANK is faced with circumstances outside its reasonable control. Events which might constitute circumstances outside the VONCRANK’s reasonable control include (but are not limited to) Acts of God, outbreak of hostilities, riot, civil disturbance, acts of terrorism, acts of government or authority (including the refusal or revocation of any licence or consent), re, subsidence, explosion, ood, snow, fog or other bad weather conditions, vehicle, equipment or systems failures, shortages of fuel or other necessary supplies, failure of telecommunications lines or systems, default of suppliers or sub-contractors, theft, malicious damage, strike, lock out or industrial action of any kind.

7. Enforcement of Terms and Conditions

7.1 Failure to enforce or non-reliance on any of these Terms & Conditions by VONCRANK will not VONCRANK from subsequently relying on or enforcing them

7.2 None of the Terms & Conditions, or benefits, of the VONCRANK VONCLUB Membership Package are enforceable by anyone else other than the Member. For the avoidance of doubt, and without limiting the above, any rights under The Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999, or any replacement or amendment of such act, are excluded.

8. Use of headings

8.1 The headings used in this Policy are for convenience only and shall not affect the interpretation of its contents

9.0 Interpretation: use of English law and language

9.1 Your VONCRANK, VONCLUB Membership Package and these Terms & Conditions are governed and should be interpreted by the laws of England and Wales. The EEA State, for the purpose of Membership, is the United Kingdom. The Terms & Conditions are written in English and all correspondence entered into shall be in English.
